Based on the given summaries of research studies, there is no direct information provided about whether electrochemical induced accretion in sea water sequesters carbon. Summary 1 discusses a method for constructing building components using electrochemical deposition, but does not mention carbon sequestration. Summary 2 is completely unrelated to the topic, discussing the use of cookies on a website. Summary 3 focuses on evaluating how electrode composition alters water purification performance and adds dissolved metals, but does not mention carbon sequestration. Summary 7 is a disclaimer about the use of cookies and ownership of ScienceDirect. Therefore, without further information or context, it is not possible to determine whether electrochemical induced accretion in sea water via sequesters carbon. Additional research or information specifically addressing this topic would be needed to answer the question.

A method for constructing a large surface area building component, comprising the steps of: disposing a large surface area preshaped substrate form having inner and outer surfaces in a volume of electrolyte, said form serving as a cathode; disposing an anode in the electrolyte in proximity to the preshaped form; and establishing a direct electrical current between the cathode and the anode for a time suf?cient for accreting a solid mass of high strength electrode 60 posited mineral material surrounding the form and covering the inner and outer surfaces to a desired of the form being covered to a desired thickness of the material. A method of constructing a large surface area building component, comprising steps: disposing a large surface area preshaped form having inner and outer surfaces in a volume of electrolyte, said form serving as a cathode; and re-establishing a current between the cathode and anode is repeated a multiplicity of times until a solid disposing an anode in the electrolyte in proximity to covering of accreted material of desired thickness and the preshaped form; composition is formed on the inner and outer surfaces of the large surface area preshaped form.

Each resonant cavity vessel had two different sets of constructed electrodes: S/S304 electrode set, and an Aluminum 6061 electrode set to evaluate how electrode composition altered water purification performance and/or added dissolved metals sourced from the electrode to the treated sample. Full size image Changes in electrodes weight pre and post experiments Next, we describe changes in electrode weights to provide context on how electrode composition influences water chemistry responses to our treatment.

This article discusses the pressing need to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 in response to global climate change. The current global development system has heavily relied on the exploitation of natural resources and the extensive use of fossil fuels, contributing to an alarming increase in greenhouse gas concentrations. To achieve carbon neutrality, it is crucial to reform production systems, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and promote the capture of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. The article presents innovative technologies that offer solutions to achieve carbon neutrality and sustainable development, including renewable energy production, food system transformation, waste valorization, carbon sink conservation, and carbon-negative manufacturing. The review of these technologies is intended to inspire the global community to further develop innovative solutions to mitigate climate change and sustainably support human activities. Overall, the article emphasizes the urgent need for systemic changes in our production and consumption practices to minimize greenhouse gas emissions and promote a sustainable future.

Although there is evidence that coral species can migrate to higher latitudes over relatively long distances and relatively short time frames43,44, such events are rare and it seems highly unlikely that a complex ecosystem such as a coral reef can migrate 15 km per year. The potential to shade coral reefs during heat-stress events may be possible over hundreds of square metres of coral reef, which may prove crucial to the success of local tourist or fishing operations.
