Summary
An Excel-based Accounting Information System (AIS) for CV. Ladi Collection targets microenterprise challenges by automating financial transaction recording, cost calculation, and profit/loss statements. Currently, their accounting is limited to basic bookkeeping with many transactions left unrecorded. The proposed system employs job order costing and the Excel For Accounting (EFA) method, encompassing seven comprehensive sheets: navigation, starting balance, journal, ledger, income statement, financial position statement, and depreciation. This approach aims to streamline the financial process, ensuring detailed and systematic financial documentation and offering solutions to overcome existing limitations. By implementing this Excel-based AIS, CV. Ladi Collection can significantly enhance its financial transparency, accuracy, and efficiency, crucial for informed decision-making and business growth. Additionally, for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), adopting similar frameworks as outlined for Bumbu Bakso Trading Company, indicates improved efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting. This showcases Excel's practicality in financial management, especially for MSMEs facing resource constraints. Using Excel for financial statements conforms with Indonesian SAK EMKM standards, ensuring consistency and aiding in performance evaluation and funding proposals. Training initiatives focusing on Excel's application in financial management reveal an increase in user proficiency, further suggesting that Excel not only augments existing processes but also empowers organizational decision-making and strategic financial planning. By adopting these systems, companies can bridge gaps previously hindered by manual record-keeping, thus, achieving a more transparent and accountable financial stance.
Development of an Excel-based accounting system aids CV. Ladi Collection's financial reporting. The study suggests job order costing and proposes using Excel for Accounting (EFA) to enhance business records.
