Summary
Cardiotocography (CTG) monitors fetus during pregnancy. Analyses fetal heart rate patterns and uterine contractions. Computer analyses mitigate intra-observer variability, decrease examination time, reduce additional tests. Signal processing techniques determine fetal heart rate (FHR) patterns, for physicians. Median filter and peak/valley detection method. Nineteen women data verify. FHR baseline, baseline variability, early deceleration, UC frequency, NST accuracy 100%. Acceleration frequency 90%. Late and variable decelerations 95%.
