3D simulation technology is increasingly utilized in public meetings to enhance public participation in planning and design development reviews. It allows urban landscapes to be visualized interactively, presenting various change alternatives in a Virtual Environment (VE). This technology aids decision-making in public participation by improving landscape planning processes. An integrated development approach of interactive visualization and user interface within a Landscape Planning Support System can effectively attract public interest, encouraging greater community involvement and contributions to urban planning. Meanwhile, the advancement of digital technology (DT) in urban landscape (UL) planning supports a more systematic approach to design, leading to progress in the urban environment. Digital landscapes present a new paradigm in landscape planning by better integrating science, accuracy, and sustainable development practices. As digital landscapes evolve, they are increasingly seen as both an art form and a humanized spatial configuration guided by data analysis. The combination of virtual reality and digital technologies provides historical city reconstructions and enriches urban construction methods with virtual interactive roaming technologies. In the power industry, virtual reality technology revolutionizes training systems, particularly in substation simulations. A three-dimensional interactive technology enables the creation of realistic virtual environments, enhancing the effectiveness and safety of power system training. By connecting simulation software with virtual substations, it is possible to simulate various operation states without operational hazards, thus improving operational skills and safety awareness among trainees. This technology fosters a more pragmatic approach to training through realistic, immersive experiences that effectively prepare users for real-world applications.

3D simulation and VE technology enhance public participation in urban planning. The system encourages input and interest in landscape planning.
